[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect beginner sewing machine. It doesn't take up much space and it's lightweight and portable enough to store or take with you. It was an easy set up and with tbe product videos on Youtube, you really cant go wrong. I purchased mine with the because I thought for a beginner sewing machine it might not be the best quality; however I honestly do think that this machine will last me five plus years if taken care of properly.! Durable and made with high quality materials! I would recommend to anyone out there ! Handy & effective!

Straightforward Stitching

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many of my jeans and shorts rip out well before I'm ready to let them go. My wife complains when I wear those outside working on the yard or my car, but they fit so comfy! The Singer M2100 is a simple machine that thread well (no instruction reading required...follow the numbers), and the bobbin is easy to fill except for my fat fingers that always struggle to get the thread through the tiny bobbin hole. Within minutes I had the rip down the leg of my favorite jeans stitched up so I can look presentable again while doing yard work. The machine did not come with a manual, so I had to search online. If you do this make sure that you only go to the Singer site, because I did not at first and got a virus from another website hawking the manual. Also, the presser foot handle is not on the back of the machine, but underneath in the hole of the machine body, and I keep forgetting to find it.

A good basic sewing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is learning to sew on this Singer m2100 machine and it seems like a good fit for beginners. It handles seams and repairs easily and the foot pedal is a dream. The written instructions that came with it were a little intimidating at first for her. But there are online tutorials that she watched and got comfortable with the machine quickly after that. She loves this little machine and is becoming a good sewer fast. This is a good machine for beginners.

She's never had one or used one. This one is simple, easy to learn and use. She's having a ball learning to sew and create new things for herself and their new house. Highly recommend for first timers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Singer M2100 sewing machine is awesome. This is the perfect sewing machine for beginners. It also has enough power for an experienced sewer. I love that it was already pre threaded. The stitch selection is easy to adjust as well. There are 63 stitch applications and buttonholes are super easy. I would highly recommend this product! My new favorite.
