[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heats to boiling super-fast. Cook settings in the manual are lower than actually needed, but one you get calibrated for you equipment, it's great. It would be nice to have the induction coils cover a larger area of the surface, so you could use a larger griddle. Love the flex join/split feature, haven't tried Auto Chef.

Sleek Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband selected this cooktop for its clean lines and efficient cooking controls. I would prefer a more traditional gas stove with open flame. This cooktop takes time to learn how to proper use it. The pan can't be lifted to mix the food from the cooktop or it will shut off, and the pan must be hold firmely while stirring the food for it to remain in place. It is more difficult to control the temperature of the food. The cooktop musk be cleaned soon after it is cool; otherwise, it is easily stained leaving marks in the glass. The advantage of this induction cooktop is fast cooking time if using the "speed boost" setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's marvelous! Some days ago, I left a pot of water to boil and walked out the room and forgot about my pot. The pot boiled over, but the cooktop turned itself off! AMAZING!

Better than gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally made the switch to induction from gas, and I love it. Such great control for cooking (the Autochef feature for frying is a revelation), so easy to clean (try using warm soapy water and finishing with a squeegeee), and really slick looking. The flexible cooking zones are awesome, and the large middle burner is actually big enough for even my largest pans. And it's seriously astonishing how quickly the Speedboost function boils water. Fantastic cooktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great uniformity and heating speed. Unlike many induction cooktops, this does not have a loud cooling fan during normal cooking. The joined burner works gresat with our steel griddle.

So glad we went with induction and flex
on December 8, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our 12 year old Wolf electric cooktop. We had never really been happy with cooking on an electric cooktop, as the temperature was so hard to control. Installing a gas line in our home would have been an added expense, and not as environmentally friendly or safe. So we took 'a chance' on induction and we are so glad we did. The heat control is as good as gas, with temperature changes being immediate. We chose the Bosch induction for it's flex zones and those have proved to be very useful. We have had it for three months now. It's so nice to be able to put a variety of pans sizes on multiple places on the cooktop. We don't run out of room anymore when cooking with one or two large pans. On past cooktops, the larger pans often took up so much space that we couldn't use some of the other burners. Even thought most of the time we cook for just two people, the flex zones come in handy more often than not. I've also found that the combination of the flex zones and induction makes less of a mess on the cooktop and so far I haven't had any burnt on food. With the old electric glass cooktop I found myself trying to scrape off burnt food or splatter more often than I would like, and worrying that I would damage the surface. I think because the induction just heats the pan and not the cooktop, there is less area on the cooktop that is really hot and so fewer messes. That's just a guess! The controls were different than the old electric, but it only took a few usees to get used to them. I would highly recommend the Bosch Induction Flex Cooktop to any one who enjoys cooking, likes flexibility of using multiple pan sizes, wants control over temperatures, less cleanup, and an option more enviromentally friendly than gas.
