(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love this 36" Bosch induction cooktop. Water boils crazy fast. Auto chef gives me precise control without burning food. Feature packed and super easy to clean. The burner arrangement is also ideal compared to other brands.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) A big come down from earlier Bosch induction cooktops if you're replacing older version do not presume this one is as good. Burner off after timer feature gone. Visibility of heat level numbers unclear. Fussy digital sounds for no reason. Designers of this cooktop clearly haven't ever cooked anything. Pointless wi-fi connectivity sacrificing actually cooking. Do your homework--not what it once was!
Bought the induction cooktop to replace an old one we had. Got the Bosch because it fit the current opening we have in our granite countertop. Are very happy with it and would recommend it.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This review is comparative to the now discontinued earlier model of the same. So far works well though not as intuitive as previous model. Have to read manual to figure out how to do simple things like "timer with shut off". It beeps annoyingly--just a little too "digital". Shows me a wifi connectivity--which clutters the screen--on a day to day basis this isn't important enough to clutter the control surface. It makes a click sound when you turn it on (comes from underneath)--a useless sound (the old model was silent). The lights, when turning on, purport to do a little "show"--a needless feature--just turn on the lights. Seems a bit gimmicky. To the important part---yes, it heats pots and pans quickly. A large surface finds the pots without needing to be precise in placing them. There are a lot of features--looking at the manual--likely too many to actuall use over time--who can remember all the steps!? Reason to buy this top of line--higher cook power than next lower model--but for that, this one has too many features that will likely never be used in this house--except perhaps at the beginning when its fun to play and see what it does.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are extremely happy about this cook top and especially appreciate the flex-zone and power output it provides. The operation is logical and straight forward. Have not experimented with Auto-Chef feature yet. The Energy consumption displaed after turned off is also very useful. It will be even better of a history of usage data abailable in the app.
One feature missing from my wish list is the ability of power-off timer for each zone, which we liked very much when used a Bosch model in the Netherlands.
The Home Connect app is very useful. It makes changing settings a easy task.
