Induction Cooktop cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Bosch Induction Cooktop NITP66OUC. I am new to induction cooking and thought it might be very complicated to use. It isn't if you can use a smart phone or smart TV. I bought induction cookware as my stainless steel set was many years old. I decided on top of the line cookware since I got a top of the line cooktop. Cooking has been fun and easy. I really like that only the surface where the pan is gets hot. You can change temperatures very quickly. The symbol H stays on after the cooktop is turned off until the surface is cool again. This happens in a short time. I am very glad I decided to switch. I have used electric then gas in the past. Thank you Bosch.

Bosch is where it's at.

I purchased this stove top and was happy with it ever since. The cooking surface is large enough for every meal and I have no concerns of noise. Unfortunately I had to buy a whole new cookware set made for induction, but all the more reason to get the Demeyere Atlantis set that I've been eyeing for a while. The stove and those pots seem like they were made for each other. It only takes a few seconds to heat up to temp and it's easy to clean up. Once again, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who's in the market for a heat induction cook top. You won't be disappointed.

Works well but takes getting used to controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with the cooktop but the controls are very different and took some time to learn how to use the cooktop. Have used gas cooktops for many years. One suggestion, hae the numbers light up as well as the control bar for the amount of heat in each cooking zone. So far we love it.

Great cooktop and cooking experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has taken some adjustment going from a gas cooktop to the induction range but I am impressed with the speed to boil and, after boiling over with some beans, I was was appreciative of the cooktop alerting and shutting off, saving me a larger mess and burnt pot. Not sure I will use the app much but it has provided a good setup shortcut. The child lock is also a great function. While I don't have kids I do have cats, whose paws set off the cooktop buttons. If not for the child lock they would have turned the range top on more than once.

Great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an Bosch induction cooktop that I purchased in 2017 and it just never quite worked right. But I believe in the Bosch brand so I "upgraded" to the new wifi version and I could not be happier. It works perfectly and performs well every time. I highly recommend this cooktop. Better than gas and without the dangers of gas fumes in the house. Very HAPPY!

Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we really like this cooktop. It's our first Induction cooksurface. Speedboost is cool, but only works if not too many burners are running. We are still working on figuring out the flex zone. The whole zone doesn't heat the pan. We get hotter spots in the middle so while the cooktop looks like a square lines it still acts like the circles. The middle burner seems pretty good and powerful.

mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: Quiet, works with Bosch hood, turns it on/off automatically. No annoying beeps.
The bad: 1. Scratched after 2-3 weeks of usage, no idea what scratched it - VERY disappointing. All my pans have smooth bottoms and the cooktop cleaned after each cooking session.
2. The countup timer only displays seconds for the first minute, then switches to minutes.
3. I would prefer to have outlined zones where the heating elements are.
4. The controls are not responsive with wet fingers.
5. It turns off itself if no pan present after a minute or so. This is somewhat annoying; there is no reason to shut down completely after a minute of no usage. Simply turning off the heating element and shutting down after 5 minutes or so would be sufficient. I don't think you can adjust that setting in the app.

HomeConnect App Provides no value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HomeConnect seems like it allows you to control the cooktop but this is not the case. You must be at the cooktop in order to change any setting include turning off a burner. What is the point? The "demo" version of the cooktop support lets you set a time during which the conrolled burner is on but in the actual version this useful feature does not exist
