Works well, good features, but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as expected, has good features, pairs with my Thermodoor hood, but makes a whine when using high power, when shifting pots, about 50% of the time (it does settle down when lowering power)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Next level performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen six weeks ago, and what an upgrade! We can not get gas, but this is very close with extra things. Still testing out the auto-cook setting, but it's very helpful. The keep warm setting is perfect for multitasking. Over all it work amazing and is easy to keep clean and adds a great look to our kitchen.

Fast and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a Thermadore cooktop and had to replace it and this one had the best reviews. There are some pros and cons. Compared to the Thermadore, the Bosch heats up faster and works quite well, but the Bosch doesn't recognize very small stainless steel pots that I have that the Thermadore didn't have any trouble recognizing so that is a bit disappointing. Granted that a magnet doesn't stick to the small pans, but the Thermadore didn't have any issues. Also, I don't know if I just haven't figured it out, but there is no way to set a timer to work with one of the cooking area so that it turns off when the timer goes off. With the Bosch, it has two different timers so the "time up" is a nice add on, but again, the timer will beep but doesn't turn off anythign automatically. It has an AutoChef function which I haven't used so that is a nice feature that could be useful and you can set the value at half point so that is a nice feature. Overall I am happy with it. Btw, my Thermadore cracked when a heavy plastic container landed on it so be careful with these...they aren't as rock hard as you would hope they are.

My new stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had some damage in our kitchen and had to have it remodeled. Our kitchen was in dire need of remodeling, but the thought was a bit overwhelming. We decided to look for a stovetop, not knowing what was available. We stumbled upon the Bosch 800 Induction Cooktop. We were somewhat hesitant to purchase it because we would need all new pots and pans. My husband and I have been married for 44 years, and I have never had a new set of pots and pans, so the thought was a little exciting.
The kitchen hasn't even been started being worked on, but we brought the stovetop home and fired it up, and I immediately fell in love. It was amazing how it cooked the food and how beautiful the stovetop is. It looks so beautiful, I polish it every day. I can't wait to see it in my new countertops and cabinets. I am a very proud Bosch owner and will be for a very long time!
