The Best Solution for our Times!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new Induction Cooktop for about 2 weeks and are so very pleased with it! I love the evenness of cooking, it's responsiveness to controls and especially have grown to enjoy the use of AutoChef and Speed Boost. Of course it goes without saying of the safety feature of using this type of cooktop - no flame, no heat beyond the pot that is being heated, etc. This is particularly important when there are children and elderly cooks involved. I would highly recommend this cooktop to anyone looking into the future especially when we attempt to reduce our carbon emissions.

Induction is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a radiant cooktop with the Bosch induction cooktop and I couldn't be happier. It dropped into the same counter cutout and was fully installed in about 20 minutes. Most of our cookware was already induction-compatible but we added a new stock pot and frying pan. I love the control you get with the burners -- today I needed a water bath that was just below a simmer and set it up easily -- and having the ability to get software updates via wifi is a big plus. It also boils water for pasta incredibly quickly - our old radiant cooktop was kind of a family joke because of how long it took to get a pot boiling. All in all, a great purchase.

Better than I even imagined

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had electric cooktops in the past, and most recently have been cooking on gas (for about 10 years). My new Bosch induction cooktop is the best for quality cooking compared to any of my past experiences. It works great and helps me cook with accuracy and perfection. I have much more control that I had with either electric or gas previously. The end results are great. Importantly, I really care about what my kitchen looks like and how easy the appliances are to use. This cooktop is great in both cases. It is clean and sleek. And, though it is wi-fi connected and has all of the current technology, it isn't complicated. Good job Bosch!

Bosch 800 series Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Induction Cooktop! We replaced an electric cooktop and the difference is asounding! The multiple heat level settings allows me to adjust for every possible cooking situation, from simmer to searing! The Speed Boost opf water in otion heats a large pan of water in no time. Bosch says 2 times faster, I say maybe 4 times faster. The positioning of the burners took a little getting used to as I was used to the 'four square' configuration. Now that I am used to it, I love it! Cooking with two or three pans on the burners works as well, if not better, than my old cooktop. Highly recommend!

Good cooktop but WiFi is a joke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love this induction cooktop. It is fast, not TOO noisy and the controls are overall pretty good. The arrangement of the zones is a bit of mystery, not sure why the largest is pushed so far from the center when there is all that room in the top left. The result is that the biggest zones are cramped together and the bigger pots/pans they are meant to accomodate have to compete for limited space. It requries some crafty arranging of handles and whatnot. Seems like an odd design choice. The Wifi functionality is a complete joke. Using the Wifi requires more effort than normal adjusting. The reason is that if you adjust the cook level with Wifi, you must confirm it on the cooktop itself for it to work. Thus, to use the Wifi requires opening the app, navigating to the correct appliance, changing the setting, then reaching down and confirming ON THE COOKTOP. It is far easier to just adjust on the cooktop since you have to be standing right there anyway. In short, the only reason this thing has Wifi is to be able to say that it has Wifi and is connected. It has zero functionality and thus the app and the wifi connectivity of the cooktop are useless.

Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is perfect! I love the auto chef option, which keeps everything at the proper temperature. The lock option during cooking to wipe off the surface is also a good feature. This cooktop is quick to respond, heats very quickly, and is laid out nicely. I previously had another brand of cooktop, but the Bosch is by far the superior. I am a fan!
