Doesn't measure up to my previous Bosch cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this cooktop to replace a Bosch electric cooktop that I had for ten years and was very happy with. The new cooktop functions very well but has several deficits. (1) The touch controls are not sensitive enough and I often have to push more than once to get them to engage. (2) The center burner only has 2 rings and previous cooktop had 3 rings which accommodated my extra large cookware. (3) This ccoktop does not have the Keep Warm function which was very useful on previous model. (4) Surface of this cooktop is difficult to keep clean and smear free. Finally, my local dealer promised to deliver the cooktop within 2 weeks of purchase but it took about 10 weeks to get it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very fragile glass

We have just purchased our replacement Bosch cooktop because the first one cracked twice - first crack has an unknown origin, the second crack was from me leaning on it, trying to be really careful and minimizing pressure, to wipe the backsplash. You cannot put any pressure on this, amazes me how it holds a stockpot. We had to replace our original because our granite was cut to fit this item 😱
Hoping we have better luck with this one now that we know how fragile it is.
