New Induction Cooktop Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are thoroughly enjoying the induction cooking experience. Installation went very smoothly. The controls are easy to understand and respond very well. It is easy to clean, too. We can highly recommend our Frigidaire Model FCCI3627AB.

Our first induction adventure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy enough to replace the gas cooktop. There is one place in the instructions where there is a mistake. The drawing shows a mounting hole for the hold-down brackets lined up with the center line (and it should be the *center* of the bracket lined up with the center line).
It does heat up the pans fast. We have found that our 8 inch carbon steel pan heats unevenly (I think the pan may be too small to cover the outer region of the largest induction element, so it only gets heated in the center). Things work better if you have 6, 7, and 10 inch contact areas. Our induction-ready al-clad appear to work better than the carbon steel. Right-sized cast iron works well, but it heats slower.
It does make a little bit of a buzzing noise. Lighter weight pans make more noise than heavy ones.

I Love everything but the noise it makes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design and how thin my cooktop is, the installation is very easy. The only thing that disappoints me is the noise it makes is very loud from number 5,6, etc. up to P, I don't know if I can live with that

Doing well so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how easy the cleanup is on the cooktop. It took me a minute to find quality cookware that I could use on it and I was sad to give up some of my nice pots but I am really enjoying the new pots and the cooktop. It has taken some trial and error to figure out timing on the cooking with the induction, but it cooks more evenly and quicker than my old one use to.

Not Happy at All!

By Far the Best Appliance Purchased for our Remodel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop cooks and distributes heat evenly and is highly efficient. It also adjust to the pot/pan size so no heat is wasted. Since it is induction, the burners heat very quickly and cook quickly though it requires caution after the burner is shut off because heat does not dissipate as quickly as might be expected. Overall, it was well worth the price and is also beautiful to look at. We bought the 36" and there is plenty of room for many pots and pans. Controls are super easy to use and we love the built in timer. Very satisfied.
