Our First GE Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed our washer for a month we like the controls and the performance. The clothes smell fresh after every wash. The different cycles make for easy washing and the noise level is very low. We wish there was an interior light in the washer, that's the only downside we have noticed after a month.

Surprisingly simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had my new washer and gas dryer for a week but so far I’m really impressed. At first I was intimidated by all the lights and options but within 48 hours I was completely comfortable with the systems. Very logical and easy to understand.

The washer will not balance. When the spin cycle runs, the washer shakes uncontrollably and moves away from the wall. This isn't even on a full load.
We are also not satisfied with the fill feature.
Overall we will not recommend this washer .

We'd like to help you with the balance of your washer. We recommend checking that all 4 of the unit's legs are properly leveled to an even floor. If needed, you can raise or lower the washer by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction. Also, we recommend ensuring that you're not overloading the unit. Regarding the fill feature and water level of your unit. The Deep Fill option is recommended for special case loads rather than normal everyday use, it will add additional water to the wash cycle regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill. Additionally, the Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for Washer water usage. The amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With Washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most Washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary.

It's big and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 30 year old washer, it was dead dead. I thought my like would never be the same until this washer came into my life. It's really big but I haven't pushed the limits of its capacity yet. It's quiet with any load so far. I'm nervous about the glass top and the controls not being old fashioned dials.
