So far, we love the new washer made in America in Louisville Kentucky. Easy push button digital dials. Turn the know to you desired settings and relax. Much quieter than our 3 year old Maytag that kept having problems. I think we're back in love with GE.

This washer is large enough to hold a king-size bedspread so plenty of room for everything else. It is not the quietest washer I ever owned, but it washes well. No balancing issues so far and puts in the proper amount of water for the size of the load. It has plenty of installed cycles and 3 additional to download. The controls are easy to access and select.

The main feature I wanted in a washer is for it to fill up with water. The deep fill option on this washer is why I purchased. The marketing is misleading because the washer does not deep fill it only adds 3 more gallons of water to the water saver level unless you choose bulky load. There is a loud pop when the lid locks. The cycles are short 30-40 minutes which is nice. Clothes seem to be clean although I have to go in and mix them around to make sure they are wet. The system does not like to be paused then add more clothes it does not adjust water level again after being paused/ re-started. Not a fan of the press pad buttons. Large stainless-steel tub is nice. It gets off balance a lot and I'm not confident with starting a load and leaving the house because it bangs all around if load is off balanced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this washer capacity. I no longer need to take my blankets elsewhere to have them clean. It doesn't take extra room and it is a high performance.
