Love all the features

I have only used it a few times (had it one week) but so far I love it. If it is half as good as my two previous GE washers, I will be happy. They each lasted about 25 years!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the way the clothes come out cleaner & particularly dry after “Spin” cycle. Easy to operate in choosing what cycle I may need. A big “Step Up” from our previous washer!

Not enough water

Not a lot of operating instructions come with it, Being new to a High efficient washer its not plug & play.
It also never puts enough water in & doesn't cover the clothes, Then id will wash them but the clothes dont move & some are still dry on top when it does the rinse cycle.
The clothes come out dirty & soap marks on them.
We have to keep hitting the deep fill button & stay near the machine so we can add water if needed.
It may be broken, But we have no idea.

We want to help with your GE Profile Series top-load washer. The "Deep Fill" option will add an additional 3 gallons to the wash cycle. Once the washer has stopped filling, you can press it again to add 3 more gallons. You can also select "extra rinse" to prevent detergent stains or residue. If you're using a detergent pod, this must be put into the wash basket prior to adding your clothes.
The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water.

I do not care for the feature where you lift the machine lid and the machine turns on. There really isn't a good reason for that because you lift the lid every time you put in soiled laundry before you actually wash. As I understand it the feature cannot be turned off!

This is the 3rd GE washing machine we have had since 2017. First one was a top loader with no agitator, it ground up our clothes. Ssecond was a front loader, it worked fine until the bearing failed in the drum and destroyed enough that it wasn't cost effective to repair over replace. Now we have a top loader that the bottom side of the lid has broken enough the lid just sets on the machine. I believe GE quality now matches the contents of a holding tank of a hog confinement
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
