Most the way to my ultimate dream set.

I've been waiting for decades for a proper Back to the Future set, and this mostly delivers! The build was pretty fun, the functionality is great (especially the satisfying wheel flipping lever), but there are some overall appearance aspects I would have hoped were better. The few chrome pieces for some of the time flux areas beg for the whole car to be shiny. The frame around the door is just too big and blocky. But overall this is an awesome set to own, and an absolute must-own for any fan of BttF.
Lego, make a UCS. We will buy it ;)

Great build

I had an amazing time building this. Spread it out between 3 days while watching the movies and the experience couldn't have been any better. The features of the set work well and I love how Marty's shoes wrap around his leg. The only thing I'd change would be to add a few extra peices so that you wouldn't have to reuse any when changing versions. Overall a 10/10 for me.

Doors Don't Stay Open

Some issues with this build I didn't like. Mainly the doors do not stay open when displayed and the wheels don't flatten 100%. Fun build but I found the process could have been better, found myself deconstructing sometimes to make it easier to assemble certain pieces.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Your Future isn't Built Yet

Great Scott, I jumped at the chance to get this day one. I was lucky enough to get 3 so I can do all three films. An option to have other figs would have been nice. A great improvement I noticed is a protective covering over the windshield when you open the bag. I have other vehicles that have scratched or scuffed windshields from other pieces in the packaging. This is a welcomed improvement. Additionally the instructions included how to remove the battery which is nice since over the long term it could damage that plastic. So many great movie cars, looking forward to what's next. Might i suggest the Bluesmobile or bumblebees Camaro now that Optimus will be joining the fold.

Flimsy build

Overall the size the of the build is good and the ability to make 1/3 cars is also nice. The issue is around the middle of the build the bumper areas and outsides are long multi step builds that snap into a hole held together by a single 1x1 brick. These will then continue to come apart everytime you touch the car. And since you are building out you constantly have to remove outer steps to go back in and snap that single brick back in.
We eventually super glued the 4-5 trouble areas.
Overall the flimsy steps here greatly diminished the fun factor and turned it into a chore. Once completed it comes apart at the doors and the bumpers when you shift the wheels. Again those parts have too many parts held by too little.
