I had just watched a tv special on Back to the Future and looked up the previously released DeLorean LEGO sets and boom this one came out shortly after. Everything about it is awesome and I like being able to change between the three movie models.

Awesome Build but….

The build was great! The detail and techniques were amazing. One of the first sets I talked myself into really taking my time. That being said. I was missing the entire sticker sheet. Got the flux capacitor sticker but no others. So now I have a finished model with no stickers or plaque. Sad…

We're glad you enjoyed this iconic set and we want it to look its best on display. Make sure that the sticker sheet hasn't gotten caught in the box flaps or slipped in between building instructions pages. If they aren't hiding, head to LEGO.build/BricksPieces-BV to request them and we'll send them out faster than 88 mph!

Great set. Love most of the details and features. Just like others have commented, something to hold open the doors would be nice, and there are MOCs that are only a few parts, so it's not rocket science. But, my bigger complaint is that it would have been nice if the set was designed and parted out to include fewer off-color parts. Subtle off-color parts that get covered by other parts is one thing, but blatant things like the rocker arm for the hover mode switch being red is super annoying, especially if displayed with the bottom visible. Similarly, bright off-color technic parts on the suspension for hover mode further detract from the viewing pleasure. Disappointed with the resources I needed to spend to get a great display piece.

This set was fantastic between the gull wing doors and the amazing hover mode conversion. Also having the ability to turn the Delorean into any of the three movie versions is a nice touch. I do however wish the doors would stay open, also I do think the interior is lacking and could be a little bit more polished. But overall this Delorean is a great gift or purchase for any BTF fan.
