Overall, this is a very suitable kettle for the pour hover technique. However, the only negative point, which is not extremely disturbing either, appears when you want to get rid of the excess water in the kettle. It is impossible to empty the kettle properly... there will always be some water left inside

A Really Cool Teapot!

It’s a cool tea pot & I really like it showing the temp optimal for brewing, it’s also durable with a single piece inside so there is no seam where you have sealant peel off into your water. That is why I got rid of the last teapot.

Great tea pot, love the built in thermometer. The only downside is you have to be careful about placement on stove (keep it in the center) and temp low enough to not got over the edge of the tea pot (that’s what the manual says). We’ve used ours daily for the past month with no issues though, looks great in chrome.
