Perfectly balanced pour over kettle is just fantastic!!!! I got it for the stove since I wasn’t sure how long the electric one would last. Heats up well on the stove. Temp gauge works perfectly. Kettle holds temperature as you go through the complete pour and puts the water exactly where you want it!!! Super happy!!!!

Great but for one thing

I love my Stagg Kettle, except for one thing. I love that the thermometer lets you pour at the correct temperature. I love the precision pour. And I love the look of it. The one thing I have an issue with is a yellowish discoloration on my white kettle after using it on my gas range. Doesn't wash off with soap and water. It's not prominent enough to be a deal breaker, however.

I've been without a stovetop kettle for years and finally made the plunge after using a pot to boil water for tea/coffee and spilling water all over the counter on a daily basis while pouring. The only downside... I wish there wasn't a finish on the bottom of the kettle. It started peeling and chipping off within the first week. FYI - I use a glasstop electric stove (don't get me started, I hate that glasstop).
About five years ago we bought our first copper Stagg Pour-Over Kettle which we use daily. It has performed very well and we've been most pleased -- this second purchase is simply to have a spare. One surprising aspect is how easy it is to clean the inside of hard water build-up -- I fill it with white vinegar, let it set for just a couple of minutes, then rinse and the inside is sparkling again.

My kettle developed strange black streaks on its own? I dont put tea or anything in it its just water
