Great but for one thing

I love my Stagg Kettle, except for one thing. I love that the thermometer lets you pour at the correct temperature. I love the precision pour. And I love the look of it. The one thing I have an issue with is a yellowish discoloration on my white kettle after using it on my gas range. Doesn't wash off with soap and water. It's not prominent enough to be a deal breaker, however.

I've been without a stovetop kettle for years and finally made the plunge after using a pot to boil water for tea/coffee and spilling water all over the counter on a daily basis while pouring.
The only downside... I wish there wasn't a finish on the bottom of the kettle. It started peeling and chipping off within the first week. FYI - I use a glasstop electric stove (don't get me started, I hate that glasstop).

About five years ago we bought our first copper Stagg Pour-Over Kettle which we use daily. It has performed very well and we've been most pleased -- this second purchase is simply to have a spare. One surprising aspect is how easy it is to clean the inside of hard water build-up -- I fill it with white vinegar, let it set for just a couple of minutes, then rinse and the inside is sparkling again.
