Pretty but flawed

My favorite thing about this kettle is the ergonomic handle; I can't believe this isn't standard yet on other kettles! However, the kettle is so delicate. We got the matte black and it immediately got grease stains on it from being on the stove that don't seem possible to clean off. The lid also doesn't seal in place, which took some getting use to when trying to pour out every last drop (because it's also not a very big kettle), and we've already scratched the thermometer casing from the lid falling out. It's beautiful but for the price I wish it wasn't as delicate as it is, and it could stand to be a little larger.

High quality and easy to use. I wish I would have had this years ago. Makes pour overs, Chemex, Aeropress, or French press brewing much easier.

This is such a great kettle. Love the built in thermometer. We use these for our pour overs for our Coffee Shop. Love it and helps us sell the kettles as well. These kettles are the perfect size for about 2 -10 to 12 oz drink. These are a great addition!

We already had a Stage EKG, so getting this kettle for our stove was a no-brainer. Works great with induction cooktop. Heats very quickly, and the built in thermometer is perfect.

The pour out of this thing is not very controlled or smooth. The stream of water weak and short. Not very good for a pour-over. Don’t buy.

Worth the cost

Temperature Guage is a must-have. The counter-balance really helps with an easy pour. If I let the water temp get too high the temperature gauge steams up but this doesn't really bother me since I don't really ever want my water above the red zone on the guage. I kind of wish the base was just metal since it's contracted some sort of stains or burn marks on the base from where it sits on my coil burner. Plus the base is too small to completely cover my smallest coil burner, which is a pretty standard size for a small coil so I'm not sure what type of stove this was intended for? Altogether though, love this product, excellent design and is enjoyable to use.

Love the design of this product. It’s a pleasure to interact with every morning. We splurged on the wood handle separately, as we loved the look of the electric option. Overall the quality of the build is top notch and it pours like a dream.
