The lovely, thin rim of the Carter makes it the most comfortable, elegant travel mug I’ve ever owned. It’s honestly nicer to sip from than most wine glasses . . . something about the concave shape of the rim, I think; it fits the curve of the lower lip so perfectly. I love everything about it, from the removable splash guard to the feel of the textured surfaces to the security of the lid. The corduroy red is a gorgeous terra cotta pop of color. I think one in another color might be in my future . . .

This mug is the best mug we have ever owned.We use it mostly for coffee and tea and it is truly amazing how hot it keeps it all day. The little basket doohickey that sits inside on top is also great at preventing spilling while traveling but good to for letting it cool enough to drink it. My husband and son kept taking mine but no more…we each have our own and we love them!
