This Mug Stinks

I am a college student and even though I have to penny pinch constantly, I decided to splurge on this mug because I’m always on the go and I thought it would be a good investment. So disappointed with this purchase, the mug started smelling terrible after just one week of using it and I can’t get the smell out. My tea tastes awful because of the smell and it’s become unusable.

Great cup, not so practical

First, the product in itself is 5 star. However from a practical point of view 3 star. What I love: I like the ergonomic feel of the cup. I love the look of the cup. It's not huge and fits well in my hand, very comfortable. I like the porcelain coating on the inside of the cup. My coffee seems to stay warmer longer versus other travel cups. What I don't love or should I say, things I did not consider when purchasing: 1. You must remove the lid to drink and in a car and the lid usually stays off while driving, hence the coffee gets cold. 2. Where do you put the lid, on the passenger seat? 3. When at the coffee shop, what do you do with the lid and the splash guard while the Barista is filling your cup? (while trying to pay and your wallet is out) 4. If I'm holding a baby in one arm and coffee in the other, how do I open the cup? And what do i do with the lid?
As much as l love the design of this cup, it is not the most practical for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coating scratched off

I got this as a gift and i was stoked. After one week I stirred my drink with a spoon and the inside coating scratched off. I wasn’t stirring violently (how can you?). Pretty sad about it.

Don't drop it!!

Good but not great, I love the look, feel, and function. Many compliments in the first week.
After dropping one time from 3-4 feet it no longer completely seals. So I can't throw it in my bag or pocket as I intended to use it
I would recommend this to a friend!

Forget only having matcha at home.
The Carter has it all! Just sift the matcha in, pour some hot water, pop the splash guard in, put on lid and shake!! Perfect matcha on the go!
