Love the Carter

I ordered the Carter in hopes that it would fit in my car cup holders; it fits in two of the ten possible drink spots (2010 Honda Fit). I was unsure about the plunger piece. I thought maybe I’d just take it out because it would be unnecessary or cumbersome but it is wonderful. It works great to slow the flow of liquid into my mouth. The last sip doesn’t come out with the plunger in but by that time it’s not a big deal to pull it out for the last drink. So glad I ordered two. I’ve used both everyday since they arrived. No leaks. Keeps drinks hot for hours. I imagine someday the rubber gaskets will wear out before the metal does. Can I order replacements when the time comes?

I absolute LOVE this little mug!! I fits the amount of coffee I drink (8oz) and I love the fact that I can *literally* throw it in my bag and go, and not worry about leaks or spilling. It’s super convenient. And the splash guard is so handy to have when driving - I could never manage to drink coffee on the road without spilling some on myself, but the guard has prevented that so far for me! It’s replaced my yeti cups - I don’t even reach for them anymore. Keeps my coffee hot for as long as I need it too, and I’ll even have to add ice after a couple hours because it’ll still be piping hot. Best purchase!

Great mug, I’ve had mine 10 months. Does NOT leak while traveling. Sip on the go, the splash guard works. Mug keeps hot liquids hot and with the lid on, still warm after 10 hours. Even with lid off the heat holds for a long time. Ah, I dropped mine many times and just 2 small bottom dents. And no scratching. I bought two more as gifts and I can see they use theirs daily too.

Love this thermos! I got the lilac one and the color is super pretty in person. My one comment on the bottle is that it definitely holds the scent of the drinks you put in. I only use it for coffee so i dont mind but even though I wash it very thoroughly with heavy dish soap and leave it open to air dry it still holds the scent. Other wise I love it, definitely keeps my drinks cold or hot for hours. I use it with the straw and lid and I can also say it doesn’t lose any coldness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the look of the mug and really wanted it to work out but it’s not functional beyond being an open cup. I have replaced both lids and the actual mug and all have failed in some way. The sip lid didn’t fit and leaked. The normal lid got stuck on the mug (maybe suctioned) and couldn’t be opened. I received a replacement and the threads on the new sip lid cracked off and it also leaks. Would not recommend

Awesome Initial Impression

First, I wanted to mention that my first mug I ordered was lost in the mail and they replaced it ASAP. Amazing customer service!
As for the mug, it fits my cupholder nicely, it keeps my coffee warm for a long time, the splash guard is nice because I walk to class with my coffee a lot, and having that ceramic inside sets them apart from any other to-go coffee mug I’ve ever tried. I really like the thin lip around the edge to drink from. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that sometimes it’s a little awkward to find a spot to set the lid and splash guard if I take that out too but then again, I could’ve just ordered the one with the flip lid. I like the screw-on lid because it gives me a lot of confidence that it’s not gonna leak when I slide it into a backpack or something.
I provided a picture of the inside because I don’t remember there being any shots of the inside on the product page.
I honestly can’t speak highly enough on the fact that the inside is ceramic. Before what I would have to do is make my coffee into a coffee cup, let it cool, then decant into my to-go cup because I make light roasts that are fairly acidic and use near-boiling water. At these temps (and acidity?) you will notice weird flavors if you brew directly into a plastic container. I notice weird tastes in metal containers, such as a yeti, at any temperature. Now I brew directly into my mug since it’s ceramic. I would advise removing the splash guard if you brew directly into it.

Warning: Chemical Smell

Do not buy these mugs. They all develop a pungent odor after a single use that does not go away. The smell is a chemically burned garlic:/melted plastic scent. It seems dangerous to use these mugs as the smell is quite obviously an issue with the materials. Drinking a hot beverage from the Carter mugs could result in you ingesting some sort of hazardous chemical.

Best traveling mug!

It was exactly what I was looking for. I did look at a lot of other brand before purchasing. But I'm glad I went with this Fellow Move Cup. The color is beautiful, the design it just perfect and the most important is that it's leak proof, I can just throw it in my purse and go. It also does keep my coffee warm for a long time.
