Not worth the purchase

It was okay, it keeps warms drinks warm, but the coating peeled off within a couple of months.

I bought this with the expectation that it would keep my coffee hot and I liked the design. I was skeptical about the usefulness of the splash insert and the ceramic lining. I was pleased to find just how hot my coffee was 6 hours after I brewed it and poured it in (I kept it sealed the whole time). The thing I was not expecting was how nice it was to drink directly from. The contours of the metal lip are more naturally comfortable on my lips than other travel mugs. The ceramic coating did seem to have some effect, as the coffee did taste slightly less metallic despite the uncoated stainless steel at the top (again, compared to other travel mugs). And the splash guard was really useful, as you do get a nice amount of coffee to sip without worrying you'll get a giant unexpected wave overwhelming your mouth. A very well-thought and well-designed mug! Get a fun color.
