[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up is very easy! Add batteries to the unit and then pair the sensors. You will need to download the Swann Security App on your smartphone to pair and set up. We got the sensor to let us know when our loved one who has dementia is near the front door. This is to insure her safety and make sure she doesn't wonder outside without us knowing.

Great motion alert sensor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This motion alert sensor is really nice! It is easy to install. It is wireless. No hub is required. 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. It is indoor or outdoor. Up to 16 feet. It is weather proof. You can recieve mobile alerts. It has wide 110 degree motion detection. It alerts you for people pets and cars. It works with Sean security. Overall this motion alert sensor is very nice to have!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It definitely works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swann - Motion Alert Sensor is easy to set up and comes with 3M adhesive for easy application and removal. It was a breeze to download the app and set up communication between the product and my phone. It definitely works, sometimes a little too well. Any animal that crosses my front yard sends me an alert. They do have a do not disturb setting though which is nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It responds quickly and notified immediately. It’s been a big comfort knowing we have yet one more thing keeping track of our home’s safety.

This sensor is ok. But it is far too sensitive for external use, which you can't change despite the app suggesting you should be able to. I find the rain triggers the sensor which therefore makes it useless as a notification device.

Thank you for your question! To stop mobile notifications or activity log alerts for your PIR motion sensor and alarm, follow these steps in the Swann Security App:
1. Go to Modes. 2. Select Edit. 3. Untick "Receive Push".
This will disable push notifications while keeping the system active. If you need further assistance, feel free to email us at tech@swann.com.
