This refrigerator has never been at the right temperature. LG sent a tech when it was new and he said that new refrigerators aren't as cold as the old ones. He said we had to live with it.
It was set as 38 degrees and it was running at 7 to 9 degrees higher.
We recently complained because food is spoiling. We set it at 33 degrees, the lowest setting. It never got below 42 degrees. After a repair it went down to 40 to 42.
We are very unhappy with this refrigerator. The slim style water dispenser is great. The temperature is not satisfactory.

Moving the ice maker to the bottom of the unit where the freezer is freed up a tone of space in the top section of the fridge. We fell in love with the water dispenser and how flat it is. Love this LG French Door refrigerator, from the interior space to the LED lighting. It is very well designed, and works great. We have had it almost three years now with no issues. I’ve had my LG refrigerator for almost 1 year. I am very happy with it. Changing the water filter is so easy, and it is very easy to clean the interior. I especially like the water dispenser that is on the door. I can easily get cool filtered water at any time without having to open the refrigerator door. The freezer is cavernous - a real plus. I am very pleased with this refrigerator.
