[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this fridge Nov.30,water supply hook up shot water all over the place,I hit it on the way in,ok my fault, no ice and water till it can be fixed,January 20th, 2 days later it just stopped working, no electric to the anything,brand new house,but the plugs all check out good, called to let them know, basically they said bummer,lucky for you people are coming to your place in January, seems like they don't care have to go through the Hollidays with no fridge. Not sure if I should cry or laugh!

Good Refrigerator, poor air-flow

Freezer is excellent, the fridge could use some re-design.
The coldest location in the fridge is the top shelf nearest the primary vent circulating cool air. Despite a setting of 34 degrees, probes and items on the lower shelf, especially near the front never get below 39. Anytime you open one of the doors, the time spend getting the lower shelf back to 40 is significant (upwards of an hour). If the fridge is packed full (say thanksgiving dinner left overs) the bottom shelf is a risky place to put food. The upper shelf regularly dips to low 30s when the fan is running.
If there were additional vents for cool air along the sides of the shelves, I believe overall cooling and air flow would be more consistent.

I bought this at the end of Oct 22. The refrigerator part has not worked since day one!. The freezer works great. LG can not fix the problem they have thrown up there hands and said it is not field repairable, but they WILL NOT replace the appliance. I hope you fare better than I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water has terrible smell. No issue with the tap water. I installed the original LG filter, poured 10-15-20 gallons of water. And still water has additional terrible smell. No chances to get rid of that. LG support told nothing helpful by phone.

Since you've replaced the water filter, flushed the system by dispensing at least 2.5 gallons of water, and say there is no issue with the tap water, please call us so that we can look further into this. I’ve had my LG refrigerator for almost 1 year. I am very happy with it. Changing the water filter is so easy, and it is very easy to clean the interior. I especially like the water dispenser that is on the door. I can easily get cool filtered water at any time without having to open the refrigerator door. The freezer is cavernous - a real plus. I am very pleased with this refrigerator.

We purchased it November 2023 but was remodeling so we did not install it until March of 2024 and the refrigerator stopped cooling in July. We're now going on 4 weeks without a refrigerator. It is super inconvenient and extremely annoying and infuriating to be quite honest.
