We thought we would miss having ice in the door, but having the additional room inside is a useful tradeoff. We just put a scoop in the ice bin and that made getting ice easy. Even though the ice is in the freezer, there's still lot of space on the upper trays and lower bins. They slide in and out with ease.

Thankfully we had another we use also for to the space needed... So when I shopped for a replacement I was looking for mainly space. This new refrigerator not only held the amount in the broken one .. I was able to fit EVERYTHING and I was able to remove the second fridge entirely. The shelving system is perfect for personalized required spaces.. with the door and freezer storage area incredible. I am looking forward to years of the performance this will give. LG does have great options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LRFWS2906S is a great unit, It has lots of room and the layout is perfect for storeage , The led lighting is great that it allows you to see everything in the compartments. The cooled down very soon after the install and was making ice in about 4 hours, This was in 85 degree room temperature . My older unit took about 25 hours to make ice, .
