Very dissapointed

Out fridge is only 2 years old and it has already been replaced once about 1 year ago. The freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling yesterday for no apparent reason and after spending the day working on a possible solution we called LG for service. A refrigerator of this quality should not break down every year resulting in lost food and wasted time.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this refrigerator. Find it very easy to keep clean and use. Its way taller than me but I can still use the top shelf inside. I love the bottom freezer option and the fact that the ice are cubes and there's ample space in the bottom to store things. So much so that my small LG Freezer is probably feeling left out so I have to force myself to atleast put the burgers and pizzas in the stand alone LG Freezer. Very quite. Only annoying function is that I leave the door open to pour a beverage and the thing will peep before I even get back. It needs to be a little longer than than like 25 secs not 10.

THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE. i HAVE HAD MORE THA 4 SERVICE CALLS ON THIS UNIT . THE COMPRESSOR HAS BEEN REPLACED AND OTHE PARTS AND IT HAS BROOKEN DOWN AGAIN. IWILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG REFRIDGERATOR AGAIN.

At 29 cu.ft., it fits much more groceries than our old side-by-side. The temp of the fridge displays on the door along with water dispenser. It beeps when the refrigerator door is left open. It is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this refrigerator a month ago for use as the primary fridge. The side-by-side that it replaced was stuffed. When I moved everything to this fridge there was still a lot of room left.
This refrigerator is completely silent during operation but functions perfectly. The separate adjustable temperatures for the fridge and freezer is an excellent feature.
My entire kitchen is LG appliances now and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
