[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old side-by-side refrigerator with the LG and couldn't be happier. After installation, I moved the contents of the old fridge over to the LG and was amazed at how much more room I had. The old fridge seemed full, but when I got everything moved over to the LG I had room to spare in both the fridge and freezer sections. The interior is intelligently designed and it's much easier to see what I have. One of the reasons I went with this model is that it didn't have ice in the door... the last two refrigerators I owned had this feature and in both of them it was problematic. The little flapper door that closes the ice compartment would malfunction which led to the ice in the door freezing. Ice in the LG dispenses to a much larger receptacle inside the freezer compartment. Thus far it's been trouble-free operation-wise, and I have a much greater quantity of ice on hand for when I have guests over. Also, I don't have to get down on my hands and knees to replace the water filter on the LG - a huge improvement over my last fridge. Finally, I never thought of my old fridge as being noisy, but I've noticed a huge difference with the LG soundwise - it's whisper quiet. There's honestly nothing I would change about the LG. I'm completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this model to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been extremely happy so far. There is so much room in the top part, I love it!!! For the bottom, I'm still trying to organize it better. We had a side by side before, and even though we got rid of a lot of frozen food when we got the new fridge, I was barely able to fit everything in there when we made the transfer. I also wish the top tray would automatically slide to easily reach the ice when you open the door, but it only takes an extra second, we can live with that.
I like the slim water dispenser, less chances of water collecting in the tray, although sometimes the water splashes back and leaves watermarks on the door, but again, not a flaw, we can just wipe it off and it only takes a second.
Even after we ran the 2 gallons the installer suggested, the kids complained that the water tasted funny, but it's getting better, I guess it just takes a while the first time.
I love that the doors are magnetic!! So I can pin important info/letters/kids artwork to the doors.
