Regrigerator not cold enough.

This refrigerator has never been at the right temperature. LG sent a tech when it was new and he said that new refrigerators aren't as cold as the old ones. He said we had to live with it.
It was set as 38 degrees and it was running at 7 to 9 degrees higher.
We recently complained because food is spoiling. We set it at 33 degrees, the lowest setting. It never got below 42 degrees. After a repair it went down to 40 to 42.
We are very unhappy with this refrigerator. The slim style water dispenser is great. The temperature is not satisfactory.

Unplug the refrigerator from the power source for at least 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, plug the refrigerator back in and allow it to run for 24 hours to stabilize.

Works Alright But Poor Service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator itself works alright but the right side door does not close property. It does not pull itself closed. You have to push on it very hard to push it past a latch. Service came out to repair it and I was told nothing was wrong with it and I needed to learn how to close a door. It was very demeaning. On top if it, he did not even have all of his tools and asked me for a number of things.

third repair in 8 years...crazy money for repairs...nobody wants to repair them...this beauty is not worth the money, just a headache. LG makes garbage

I am so very disappointed. The problems with this unit are numerous. I doesn't hold temperature. I have had it serviced and it took over a month to get it fixed. I have no confidence in being a long term item in my house as it should be.
