I would like to suggest that in the next version that the full-width drawer below the Vegetable/Fruit drawers be divided into 2 drawers because to use it, both doors must be opened, letting all the cold air out of the 'fridge!!

The water filter does not filter out the taste, water has an aftertaste it is unpleasant. I am being forced to install a pre-filter under the sink type with two canisters in order to correct the problem.

Had this fridge for only three months and really liked the size and configuration but it would not cool the refrigerator portion. Temperature fluctuated between 40 to 50 degrees. After 3 service calls (over three weeks time) it was still not fixed. I will say that LG did step up to the plate and gave us a full refund but we had to sign paperwork saying that we would not sue them.

So Far, a Great Product- Except One Small Feature

I absolutely love the space of the fridge and the coldl water feature on the outside door. The outside cold water feature does not take away from the door space inside at all, which is absolutely wonderful. Overall, it's a wonderful fridge with a great distribution of configured spaces and obtaining uses for them; with one downfall, it needs an inside temperature reading to be made available for both the fridge and freezer temperature readings. I had to purchase a separate one to put it inside too ensure all is continually working properly all the time, at a safe temperature. Most fridges have this simple feature, which is very important. Economically, features wise, and based upon reliability reviews, from all my research, this fridge just made the most sense in making the purchase against all others. Best wishes to all moving forward.

FRIDGE NOT 35.75 IN WIDTH

I just purchased this fridge and had it installed. The width of the fridge is 36 inches, not 35.75 inches as indicated in the specs. If you have a 36 inch opening to fit the fridge, it will NOT fit.

I have now been using my new LG Refrigerator for 12 days, and so far, I love it. It has the same "footprint" as my old refrigerator, but has over two cubic feet more space-which is a huge difference! The door space is fantastic. I can store so much more in the doors that I no longer have to move everything around to get to the jars of things that were pushed to the back of my shelf space with my old fridge. The freezer also has more room and is much more efficient to organize frozen foods because of the depth of the pull out shelf and the fact that the large bin/basket does not have as much of a slanted back as my old one did---giving more space.
As for the OUTSIDE of my new LG: It is WONDERFUL! I was worried about the color being too light; too shiny and showing fingerprints. NO PROBLEMS!!! The finish that I chose (called printproof platinum silver) is perfect. It is darker in color that the "stainless steel", it is NOT too shiny, and it is very easy to wipe off fingerprints when necessary. Could not have asked for anything more. It is not "bogged down" with a bunch of unnecessary "smart" stuff that I don't have the time or energy to figure out. I opted for filtered water ONLY from the slim line door dispenser because the in-door ice dispenser was why I had to replace my previous refrigerator. I did not want to go through THAT again, so opted for water only. It is great. Easily dispenses with no dripping and accommodates all sizes of containers that I have tried. Digital displays are on left door panel just above the water dispenser and are simple once you get the hang of it. Again, well thought out and "dumbed down" so that even an older, non-techie like me can figure it out just be reading that section in the owner's manual.
I would have NO PROBLEM recommending this LG Refrigerator model. I cannot speak for longevity, since I have only been using for 12 days, but with my added protection plan, I am not worried.

I bought this to replace a nearly 12-year-old LG refrigerator freezer, which I completely loved. I was amazed to find that LG just gets better and better. Love the single drawer freezer on the bottom that ingeniously also house a top tier level freezer drawer for those items used frequently and to also house the ice maker and cube bin. Love the wider and deeper crisper drawers in the refrigerator and the inner door bins that hold so much more. The server drawer is perfect fo housing prepared food trays and also to organize deli items. My older model was stainless steel. I looked have the same, but found a platinum/silver version in this model that also resists fingerprints, so that is another plus. I am very pleased with my purchase. LG never disappoints!!!
