Horrible experience w/ under cabinet ice maker

This is the 2nd identical unit -- replaced within 2 years after an intermittent water pump issue. "Down time" was probably about 30% overall. We had to buy a replacement this spring and it's operated fine for a couple months (just like the original machine) and now it's down. The design of this machine is faulty and I'll be seeking full refund of this 2nd purchase (the replacement machine).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesnt work great a year later

has worked great till it hasnt a year and half later. Flashes Clean & Reset Filter lights within 24 hrs of cleaning and changing the filter now. Out of ideas how to make it work correctly I have tried everyting.

My gourmet kitchen nightmare :-(

Runs constantly and is beyond noisy, never drains properly, wet ice, on and on. I struggle to find one good thing about it other than the ice is actually crystal clear. This is my third GE Cafe ice maker, and it will be my last. The first one had problems that the company blamed on my reverse osmosis system that fed it water. The second one would fill up, never drain, then melt completely off followed by running non-stop for 24 hours! This is the last one! If it didn't match the other 7 appliances, I would have scrapped it by now. For the price, I am beyond ill about this piece...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible and disappointin… worked less than 48 hrs

It worked for less than 48 hours. Part is on order… it’s brand new and a part needs to be replaced? I should have read the reviews in advance (they are awful)…my fault for assuming the product was high quality and functional.

Seems to work great so far. Makes ice fairly quickly. Only complaint is that it is a little loud.

It stopped working after 2 weeks. Now it fills the ice bucket with water and produces no ice.

We encourage you to reset your icemaker by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, we advise you to take advantage of your limited warranty. You can view your warranty details on page 28 of the Owner's Manual at the link below.
