Doesn’t work!

Hasn’t worked properly since installation, GE repair came out and got it going now 2 days later doesn’t work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as expected

Ice maker works fine and was easy to install. I did not realize until after it was delivered that it did not come with a door panel! Had to order that separately and then it came without mounting hardware! Had to call and find out what hardware was needed and but it myself - GE Appliance said I would have to return the door and get a new one with the hardware.

Sad but True

There are things that I do like but the cons outweigh the pros. Things I like: the ice is great. It’s clear and cold. It comes out perfect and fills regularly. Things I don’t: this ice maker is loud loud. It’s in the room next to my bedroom and it has woken me up numerous times. It’s in my pantry and is too hot. It elevates the room to the point it will spoil food. I wish I could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful and not dependable.

Bought GE monogram and a year later they discontinued it so parts are non existent and It is broken all the time. Will never buy GE monogram again, awful products. GE profile was so much better but their top of the line is just junk

Great ice maker

Makes ice quickly and keeps bin full unlike my previous Whirlpool which made sub par cubes that were constantly melting. Love Cafe.
