Too loud & big cubes

It's so loud! I wish it was quieter. And the cubes are too big. I wish they were smaller cubes. I'll get used to it, but I miss my old one.

Oh no, we're so very sorry the icemaker is too loud for you. The unit is designed for quiet operation, but will make some noise during the icemaking cycle. During a freezing cycle, it is normal to hear the fan moving and the water pump circulating water. Ice hitting the bin or ice in the bin can be hard during harvest.

Ice maker is extremely loud when producing ice and produces a lot of heat into cabinet next to it.

Cafe ice maker - not reliable

Under cabinet ice maker. Beautiful look and when we have ice, it’s great. However, it is very loud, seems to run constantly and creates an abundance of heat in the surrounding cabinets. The unit has been installed and used for about 6 months, has already needed service and we have had to reset it several times. It takes forever to get a service appointment and then the tech had never serviced this type of machine. We will be contacting them again today because the machine stopped making ice and started beeping for a new filter, which we changed, but it continued to beep and had to be unplugged to shut down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They last about -8 months and die. I bought matching appliances and my second ice machine in 5 yrs is down.

It was not filling bucket, however, we received a wifi update from the GE service team. It is working well now. Makes nice clear ice cubes.

The recommended room temperature range is 60 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
