Great Watch Until Worn in the Water

I've had this watch now for 2 weeks and have loved it. Up until today it has been a great watch that has done everything that it says it's capable of. However, after wearing it surfing in the ocean for an hour and a half, the battery won't hold a charge and the device dies from 100% charge in about a half hour. It's advertised that it will withstand up to 100m of water, definitely not the case.

Had it for a month and the features are ok. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Fist of all the watch is durable. I work on a helicopter doing hoist based rescue and need something I can depend on. The watch has taken a beating and can still tell me health metrics at the end of the day. I'm an avid runner and weightlifter and this watch provides me all the metrics I'm interested in. The watch is also lightweight, looks good and has great battery life. But with confidence.

Couldn't ask for more

I'm not a watch person but i am a fan of the garmin In-reach this watch accompanies the In-Reach well. As a weightlifter, bowhunter, and distance runner. This watch has features that benefit all those activities and much more. You can trigger training events on the watch. The app oddly knows what muscle groups you excersized and what motions you completed be it bench press or rows. It needs a little help with some exercises but for the most part it already knows. There are diagrams that show muscle groups you worked. It's pretty sweet and helps you identify what zones you will target the next day. It also track treadmill runs with impressive accuracy. Plus many more features. Quite an impressive watch. Only downside is, I can't see the benefit for the solar option unless you spend extensive periods in the backcountry. Which I do, and I would still pay extra for that feature after owning the watch. The battery life is around 25 days with occasional solar supply.

I love my new garmin! Love that I don’t have to charge it every couple of days. I’ve probably charged it once a week and it wasn’t all the way down.

Love it! Great features

I upgraded from a hand me down forerunner that I used for 3 years. I love the instinct as I have more health data. I only wish there was a better manual on how to use the different features like HIIT as an example.
