Love this watch. Lot's of capability and you can make the screen as simple of multi-faceted as you'd like. The sleep measurements are greatly improved over previous models.

Love my Garmin Instinct solar 2

My Garmin Instinct Solar 2 is amazing. I use it primarily for cycling. Tells me everything I need to know. Works great for swimming too. Probably works great for a running but I don't run.

Great watch, worked just fine for almost 4 years, then solar charging stopped to work. Feature-wise excellent watch at this price point!

Garmin makes great smart watches

I like this watch a lot! My wife's smart watch needs charging every couple of days; mine goes for almost a month between charges. I love that it displays notifications from my phone so I can check them without dragging my phone out of my pocket. The band it came with was difficult and slow to remove and latch again, but I found a reasonable replacement with a swing-over magnetic latch that is perfect.

It worked great for 2 years before the battery stopped holding a charge and the solar charging feature also stopped working. This wouldn’t be a problem if the battery was replaceable but it is not. Planned obsolescence?
