Great watch. It's not difficult to get to different screens or track events. It stays charged well. I charge it once every two weeks or so, depending on how much sunlight it gets. When I do have to charge it, it's charged very quickly. Im not positive but I think less than three hours, when it was at 5%. I use it for hiking, camping, running, walking the dog, hunting, golfing and whatever else comes up. Easy to use and durable. Great watch overall. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic EDC

I've been using the Instinct Solar for about 2 years, including a rotation to Korea. I wear it every day, and it does a fantastic job holding a charge, and keeping track of all my activities. Its GPS is very accurate and reliable - however it is easily opened if you're wearing any kind of glove that uses a Velcro closure (keep that in mind!). Overall, I would recommend this for any beginner or veteran of the outdoors. I plan to continue using mine for a hot minute.

Love it - has worked flawlessly for nearly a year

Have had this for nearly a year now and it has worked flawlessly the entire time. I got this mainly for the heartrate/gps tracking features for running and training for big mountaineering projects and has worked exactly as I hoped. Not super fancy but the display in intuitive and easy to read and does everything I need it to.
I wear this every day and have put in through the ringer, including in wet and very cold temps and never had a problem. I think I had to reconnect it once to the Garmin app, but otherwise I have never had problems with it syncing.
Super solid, does everything I need for tracking training, workouts, hikes, and climbs. Would 100% buy again!

Great watch for multiple cycling modes.

Similar to my Garmin Edge 530 bicycle computers recording of cycling metrics. Paired easy with my Wahoo Ticker heart rate monitor and Stages left side crank power meters. Great size, style, battery life and function. I purchased this watch primarily because it had multiple cycling modes and I wanted to use it to record my cycling metrics while racing cyclocross verses using my Garmin Edge 530 cycling computer because cyclocross requires multiple bike changes. It took a a little bit of time watching videos and reading about the watch to get familiar with it but overall very easy to figure it out. Overall I am very happy with the price, sleep score, functionality and style of the watch.

Absolutely amazing watch. Upgraded from an Apple Watch after mine shattered on a bike crash. This thing is super accurate . I only charge it once a month. Awesome metrics it tracks for all sports especially MTB. Automatically syncs to Strava. Still get text notifications on it. Couldn't ask for anything else

Perfect for yard work and the military!

I initially got this watch to save my Enduro2 from being beaten up doing yard work. I loved its rugged nature and functionality it seems indestructible and captures all the usual metrics that you would expect from a Garmin. I subsequently got one each for my sons who both joined the Army, they're super impressed too and are big fans!

The Garmin instinct 2 Solar watch is very useful. Between tracking workouts, runs, hikes, swims and sleep and heart rate it's been a vital training aid. The solar ability allows you to change it while in remote areas with it access to electricity to charge it. Very easy to use and friendly with a very good app to use to help monitor your info and keep the watch updated. It is very durable and strong. Highly recommend this watch

I love all the workout and health data it provides. Great watch amazing battery life. I have had no issues with the watch. Don't like taking it off.
