Great watch

Bought this watch to replace my Garmin Instinct Tactical that I had for a couple of years after seeing the updates to it and wanting the solar feature. All in all, I really like the Instinct 2 Solar, but I will say that I find the solar feature kind of useless unless you spend a large chunk of your day outside.

How to use this thing??

I bought this thing about a month ago in Montana. A person helped set it up initially. It did not do what I wanted. I attempted to add exercise activity and now I get nothing I want. I am now in Ohio with a Piece O Scrap I cannot get to do what I want.

Great features, navigation takes time to learn

Overall love the watch. Only issue is the navigation. First of all, font is really small and hard to read. Secondly it is simply not intutitive to navigate to all the features. I have had for 3 weeks now and am starting to figure it out, but it is no iWatch for sure. Most importantly, battery seems great thus far, which is what i really wanted.

Great watch for backpacking and working

I originally got this watch for backpacking in the backcountry but I also use it while working. It’s been very durable for me and you can’t beat the battery life on it. It is nice to be able to set a location and be able to find it later on. I really like the Garmin app. It lets me keep track of multiple measurements. Overall it’s been a great watch and I don’t have any complaints.

I cannot be more happy than I am. This watch has battery life that lasts for weeks and is insanely durable. I literally never take it off

Best garmin I've purchased

Does everything i want, and nothing I don't need. Best of all it's extremely durable. If you're look for a seemingly simple watch (no touch screen), does activities very well, and feels borderline invincible, this is your watch. Worth the price tag. Not sure if the solar function is worth the extra spend, might prove useful down the road.

This watch covers everything I wanted. Heart rate monitor, steps, compass, altitude. Even has moon phases. Better than any Gshock that I have owned in my opinion.
