Best Watch for Outdoor Enthusiasts

After having the original Garmin Instinct for 2 years, I made the switch to the newest version and it has not disappointed. With the upgraded features of VO2 Max, Solar Charging, Pulse Ox, etc... it's one of the best on the market for any active lifestyle. My first instinct made it through 3 rough Fire seasons and I am sure this next generation will hold up to the test.

Perfect level of smart watch

For daily use, the watch is just smart enough. I don't feel overwhelmed or as though there are too many extra features. Great accessibility and usability for everything from hiking and trail running to HIT workouts. Great battery life too.

Different than Instinct Solar

I replaced my Instinct Solar. I was surprised how different the information is displayed so that has taken some time to get used to. I also had trouble with the sleep data. However I received excellent help from Garmin Technical support and resolved the problem. I like that the watch is smaller.

Made from poisoned material ?

Whithin two hours after fixing the watch at my arm, I got an extremely hurting allergic reaction. Needed cortisone to treat it. I did wear the older Instinct solar 1 for almost two years without any problems. Probably they changed the material of the plastic-housing and it’s toxic now.

Cool but how durable

First week I've put some nicks into it i dont know how beat up it will get doesn't seem very tough compared to what ive heard, but a sweet watch. Just a lot of money for something thats soft and will not look as good after some use

Lacks Life.

The watch doesn’t have a good battery life. If your tied to an office or nights for a majority of your day go another route. If you don’t want to see all the features shut off allows for more life. Not something I was expecting g from a solar charge watch. Features are good and easy to use.

Long battery life!

I have had this for about a month so far and I love it! It holds up to my lifestyle, I've only had to charge it twice so far. Love it!

Perfect size & features

I rocked the previous edition Instinct Solar for over a year and absolutely loved it. My only drawback was its size having a smaller wrist. Switching to the 2S, the watch just feels so much more comfortable and fits me better. I was already use to the interface and app which I love.
