Great watch

I’ve had this watch for over a year now and I love it. It helps me accurately track my energy levels so I do not over do it daily. I also like the watch gets updated with new features.

Basic watch, not worth the “solar” charging

The biggest reason I bought this was the advertised “99 day battery life” aka basically unlimited due to solar charging capabilities. I’m on my second one in a month and the solar charging already isn’t registering on the second replacement. When it did work it averaged charging 1% battery growth for about every 45 minutes in the Sun without recording an activity. I’m having to charge this watch more than my old one (really can’t make it a week - though advertised for 13 days). I miss the size and color screen of my Venu. If you’re buying this for the solar / battery, just don’t. Unless you live outside, you won’t see the benefits. And now this one isn’t even registering the Sun anymore (2 weeks old) and I’m not going through the hassle of getting it replaced again.

Great Option for Multiday Backpacking

I bought this to monitor my heartrate while backpacking. It does pretty well at this, but I have to switch it to the underside of my arm sometimes to get a decent reading. Battery life is awesome and makes this a dependable item in the backcountry. I did 100 miles on the CT this summer and had tons of charge leftover. I typically get 3 weeks per charge for the features I use. I wear a lot of long sleeve shirts so the solar isn't as useful as I thought it would be. If you wear sunshirts you might stick with the non solar version.

A really good watch, health and activity monitor

I converted to the Garmin as I was having to charge my previous smart watch at least every 24 hours. I bought the watch in June and I have to say that it has taken me a while to adjust to the Garmin from my previous watch. I am now completely at ease with the Garmin and I have it set up for the activities that I enjoy, and I only have to charge it every 15 days or so. Very comfortable on the wrist, seems lighter than my previous watch and I prefer the strap on the Garmin. I am very comfortable with getting the Garmin wet.

This watch is amazing. Only thing I don't love is the solar power isn't the best. I would just have gone with the regular instinct instead. But even so this watch still is 10/10

I have had the watch approx. 1 month. I like the battery life feature. The solar charging is a nice feature however not as fast as I thought it would be. I use a lot of the feature while riding and day to day so it does drain the battery Even with that I get at least 8 days of no charging before it went into a safe battery mode. Overall very satisfied
