Primarily Used For Emergency Text Capability

My family is working in another state. I am alone in a remote area, tending the dogs, rabbits and turkeys. If I fall or something, hopefully the emergency text function will save the day.
The Large Display and Solar function are very appealing. I keep fit without keeping track, and am able to disable power using functions. Light and comfortable, it is a good feeling to have this on the wrist.

Bought this watch last month. Has all the features I wanted plus more. Love the style and fit. Great stats for monitoring health and exercise. Would suggest this purchase for anyone wanting a robust sports watch.

I’ve had this watch for about a month. I previously owned the Apple Watch and thought it was too much for what I needed. The Garmin is great for activity tracking, heart rate monitoring, sand sleep. Would recommend to anyone wanting to take their fitness to the next level.

Got this watch to pair with my Garmin dog collars. After a learning curve I was able to get my track on my watch on the same map as my dog collars! Love the extra long battery life
Still haven’t tried the solar charging just yet

Everything I hoped it would be

Got it as an early Christmas gift and has already helped me find my way out of a cedar swamp. Controls were clunky to figure out without an internet search, but after 20 minutes of clicking around, it’s natural now! Only complaint is sleep tracking with the app. I work rotating shifts and it will erroneously track sleep when on midnights, and not track correctly during the day. 5 Stars otherwise.

Awesome Addition to my Routine

Great way to start the new year. I love the comprehensive features and like the stress tracking better than I thought. Easy to add custom activity types (I do roller derby and wanted to track my practice sessions separately from the other exercise types.) I like the freeform and opt in nature of the challenges on the Garmin Connect app. I am glad I switched from (Other Big Name Brand) to Garmin for sure!

I don't like it at all, probably returning it

This is the least user friendly watch I have owned. My Venu2 was great I only got the instinct because my Venu suddenly quit holding a charge more than a day. Very difficult to figure anything out on the instinct. Can't find anyone who can help me navigate it either, even people who own one seem to mavigate by hit or miss. When I first started wearing it the watch was estimating my calorie burn at over 3000 cal a day (I'm injured and wearing a boot so not doing much) so I knew that was wrong, I adjusted my weight which was 10 lb difference and suddenly my calories are 900 day?? not even close, My sleep used to be about even between deep and REM, almost 2 hrs each now it is constantly poor quality with an hour of awake and 30 min of deep and REM - I'm sure that is not correct.
