BAD EXPERIENCE

I started using it 3 weeks ago. unfortunately, battery doesn't last even 1 day... I realized that counts and measurements don't match reality. And to even greater disappointment, the solar charging ad I didn't see working, I left it in the sun all day and nothing. very bad the product. I hope it's a factory issue and it's fixed somehow.

Unlimited battery is unbeatable!

Really love it for all its functions, but nothing beats unlimited battery while on saver mode.
Would be really nice, considerate & a great time-saver if there is a one-button activation of the absolute-best-battery mode which will also load a minimal-drain watch face, perhaps like the sleep-mode watch face.
Make it so hard to activate that the user must confirm with quadruple responses -- if that is necessary -- but when you need to conserve battery, you don't want to waste more of it by turning off so many items, even assuming you have the time!
Oh, the watch strap is a bit dated, without the "tug-underneath" option.
Else, an absolute stunner! Absolutely recommended!!

Terrible Functionality

This watch was given as a gift from my Father. The watch simply doesn’t do what’s it advertised!? It’s useless for surfing, everytime I’m out in the water it loses GPS signal and doesn’t record any data. Really upset with the false advertising “Surf Watch.

Received this as a gift from my kids, unfortunately have had to send the first two back as defective. Garmin not able to explain either issue. Just received third one under warranty, hope this lasts

Difficult to use, difficult to see the face

I need this to help monitor my heart. It is very complex to access different features. It doesn't respond to the commands prescribed in the manual. Not worth the price.

4th broken watch

Very accurate with tracking but it has now broken every single time I’ve surfed with this watch. Started with back buttons breaking and now the battery just doesn’t hold a charge. I keep returning and replacing them but at this point it seems like a loss. I thought these watches were built for durability and this one specifically for “surfing.”

good watch features, but too much digital exhaust

Ive been using this watch for about 14 months now and the watch features are solid. What I hate is that I cannot use Garmin Connect on my phone to get watch data without being connected to the intertubes.
It is awful that Garmin requires that I give myself up like in Black Mirror, JUST TO GET MY OWN DATA into my OWN PHONE
