Literally needs to get charged all the time even on advanced modifies settings to keep it run longer, they removed SD card so if somethings goes wrong with the phone, good bye your data. Also they remove aux jack right??? Well it is almost as thin as my Galaxy S9 It lags all the time and overheats

Galaxy s22--The drain game

Although there are some nice features with my new base model Galaxy s22, this product has the worst battery life/performance of all the smart phones I've ever owned. I've been loyal to the Galaxy product line since the beginning, but this just might be the end of the road for us.

This phone is garbage

I gave back my S10 for the S22 and completely regret it. This phone is 100% trash. A few months after receiving, the media speaker went and Samsung replaced. That lasted about 6 months before the speaker stopped working again. The phone constantly overheats. Always dropping calls. I'll be on the phone for say 5 mins and then the line will go silent for about a minute, I can't hear anything and the other caller can't hear me - then the call will come back like nothing happened. Battery stinks. Hands down the worst Samsung phone I've owned.

All is GREAT except not SD Card slot

The ONE reason why I went with Samsung over iPhone way back in the early stages was due to the flexibility of the SD slot. I don't understand why they took this MOST important feature away, but I hope & pray that the future models bring this back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone screen black during a call
on March 23, 2022

I am very disappointed that the phone screen goes black after 40 seconds on the phone. The display always on DOES NOT WORK DURING A CALL. Why do I have to constantly tap my phone. I'm on calls for hours and it is very important to mute and unmute myself. Now that the screen is black have to tap then hit the button. Very disappointed and who wants a black screen during a call. I can't even end calls quickly since I have to double tab to get back to the phone screen to click end call. Update this feature. I wish I could return this phone due to this.

There are so many things I am disappointed with in this phone that I'm not sure where to begin. 1. Opening the phone when it's locked - super annoying. The facial recognition doesn't work. You have to hold the phone at just the right angle and be looking with just the right facial expression for it to work. The finger print scanner is the worst. If your finger is not in just the right spot and at just the right angle on the scanner, it won't recognize it. So I am basically back to 2010 typing in my passcode every single time. 2. If your battery accidentally dies, and you plug the phone in to charge, it doesn't restart itself when it has enough charge. Then when you remember to power it on, it will not connect to the cell towers and start receiving calls/texts until you put in your passcode. It basically takes 10 minutes of babysitting it to get your phone back. And if you forget to put your passcode in after it restarts, then tough luck you will be incomunicado for hours until you realize it. 3. I, like many millenials, use my alarm clock on my phone to wake up the morning. I can't tell you how many times i've accidentally turned off my alarm instead of snoozing it. The interface on the clock/alarm for this phone is not intuitive or useful. 4. The vibrate isn't very good. I can barely feel it if it's in my pocket, and if it's in my purse I definitely do not know i've received a call. My old phone I could feel my whole arm vibrate when I had my phone in my purse and got a call.
SO basically, the screen is beautiful, the camera is nice, but everything else about this phone is annoying.

Battery Life is Horrible!

I traded in my S21 for an S22. The phones are very similar, except that the battery life on the S22 is TERRIBLE!!! I used to be able to get through a whole day with my S21. Under the same use conditions, I never get through a whole day with the S22. It always needs charging in the afternoon. This is is extremely disappointing! I really regret trading in my S21. This has been such an inconvenience in the first month of ownership. Starting every single day fully charged, but having to charge my phone in the afternoon. I thought the improved processor would make up for the smaller battery on the S22. I was dead wrong. Strongly do not recommend this phone.

Got the S22 after having a pixel 4a. Liked the smaller size because everyone wants to turn phones into tablets. I'm probably gonna return the phone. The battery life new on this phone is no better than the battery life on my 2 year old phone that battery has worn down. There are clinches in the messaging software. But the most annoying thing is the reduced signal / reception I get compared to my old phone. In the building I work in messages waiting for hours to send or receive. Was never a problem with my old phone. Live and learn I guess. Hype isn't always right
