Best watch I didn't know I needed

The watch is amazing. It has improved my training in so many ways. It help me understand my recovery, sleep patterns, and how hard I train.I use it when I'm weight training, cycling, swimming, playing golf, and walking. Now that I have it I don't know how I was working out without it.

Great watch!

The Fenix 7 is a fantastic all around watch. Great battery, great performance, lots of extras Garmin throws in with software and Connect. I am an Apple user primarily but still pick Fenix. Love it.

I've owned the watch for a few weeks, and had fun setting up custom faces and custom workout data fields. I'm very pleased so far, no issues have arisen.

Tons of stuff!

I bought this watch after having both a fitbit and timex ironman. This watch has everything! It is pricey but worth it if are active and outdoors. I haven't even scratched the surface of all of the things this watch can do. Probably over kill. The only complaint I have is that there is no owners manual that comes with it. You have to go online to get it. 249 pages so I won't print it. Decent battery life so far 42% after 15 days with no charge.

A step up from my old Fenix 3 and easy to manage.

When i looked at the features on line and glanced at the manual, there was some fear that the device would be too complex. I was delighted to see it was all very intuitive and one could easily learn most of the features without digging through the manuals. The simple set up really helps as you can prioritize the apps that you use in the menus. The heart rate monitor works really well without the need for a chest strap.I basically use the device for gym, bike, hikes and walks. So I thought maybe I don't need all the other features. But the health, heart and sleep data is worth it. The watch exceeded my expectations.

Confusing features

I have had the Fenix 7 for two weeks.
I down loaded both Garmin IQ and Garmin Connect. I have not been been able to set the temperature. I consider myself very capable with new technology but this has not been an easy phone to transition to. youbTube videos move quickly and assume to know all the short cuts.

All around winner

Bought this after months of debate. Previously had a Fenix 6s which was functional but the battery life (particularly with solar), screen size and general performance is WAY better with the Fenix 7 and size is not an issue. Use it for hiking, biking, running, swimming, Nordic and CC skiing and it works well for all. Only fault is when it is very cold (sub 25 F) or occasionally in the pool, seems to take a while for the HR function to work properly. Others have mentioned similar issue, may just have to add a heart monitor for swimming, otherwise couldn’t be happier with the watch.

Very accurate

I’ve had this three weeks replacing an Instinct Solar and not only is the battery life better but all data is more accurate. Heart rate, elevation gain and loss, and maps. More information like my 735 and a changeable face. I’ve had several different Instinct watches that I liked and wasn’t sure I would like this one (my wife bought a fenix 7 and talked me into this purchase). I love this watch and I bought a pro heart rate monitor to go with it and the information from both together is excellent.
