Best value. Hope solar will not impact batt life

I use it for running, rowing and cycling. Both indoors and outdoors. Not sure about solar feature necessity, because it is covered or not directed to sun most of the time. I hope sun charging will not impact battery life, because of charging cycles limitation. All other features migrated from previous versions with exception of touch screen as really new feature. Health and stamina a great features for training, but are useless for racing, because cannot measure mental strength status. What is total expected. Great device and support combination. Ask me if need details. I had to contact customer service many times and always had positive experience.

Incredible Watch!

WOW! This watch provides you with LOTS and LOTS of data! 24/7 heart rate, HRV, stress tracking, recovery time, suggested workouts. It tracks a huge list of activities, and you can create your own activities if you need to. Maps can be used without a data connection. I like being able to use it to navigate a predefined course. Having BOTH physical buttons and touchscreen is incredibly convenient. Solar charging is awesome! (I'm getting over 2 weeks per charge.)

So much unknown

I have been trying to figure out all the features and cannot find a good place for information. When I look up videos to help, I notice that all of the button clicks they talk about are completely different from mine. Do I need to do a factory reset? I have not customized anything yet which is why I'm so confused as to why my watch has such different shortcuts from all the "expert" videos

Great on Battery

Great watch, comfortable to wear and the solar charging and the long battery life makes it feel like a watch rather than a device strapped to your wrist.
The only complaint I have is some of the activities like Inline skating is not included, so you can track it. Another thing is the lack of apps from different developers.

Take control of your health

My “Garmin world” started a couple of years ago with the purchase of my 66i In Reach. I do a lot of backcountry fly fishing and love the SOS feature of wilderness travel. Recently, after investigating the features of the new smart watches by Garmin, my wife purchased the fenix 7 for my BDay. Tracking my alpine skiing adventures was the initial thought. The reward I never anticipated was the monitoring of sleep and body recovery patterns. You find yourself accountable to your watch to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Sleep scores and training readiness are so key to your overall lifestyle. At 75 years old, I have taken a new look at the importance of “listening to my body”. Thank you Garmin.

Watch has a ton of features, none are worth anything. Watch is a paper weight, get an iwatch
