Fenix 7 Works Great!

I picked this watch up two years ago to replace my Fenix 6. I use it every day, all day, unless I'm showering or charging it. The battery life is fantastic, even when not getting any sun (I'm in Alaska, where the sun stops existing for months on end). It'll last around 20-30 days on a full charge. If you're getting sunlight, it doesn't seem to charge it very well - but it DOES slow down how fast the battery may deplete if you're outside using GPS on a long run, hike, whatever. Even with pretty continual GPS use, it'll last two weeks or so. I ran a 24 hour race using GPS the entire time and the battery only went from 100% down to 70% by the end. I highly recommend it. GPS functionality is good, screen is highly durable and the band seems more durable than previous editions.

Garmin went above and beyond! Traded my damaged Fenix 6 solar in on a Fenix 7 solar and OMG I LOVE IT!!!!! The touch screen is AWESOME!

Last forced update completely changed my watch. It used to last 12-15 days on a single charge, now 3-4. My custom watch face? Gone. Super bummed I’m spending time figuring out stuff I shouldn’t need to.

When the face is wet like in the water, you can’t change the display by touch. It freezes sometimes as well.
