Very satisfied with our new GE carport freezer. Also, love the fact that it has an LED light that comes on when you open the lid.

Just purchased this item and it's working as described. Keeps everything cold, took less than an hour to reach zero degrees after first plugging it in our garage.

So far no problem freezes well. Good size. Easy to organize because I add bins. I like also that it’s manual defrost. My upright freezer is automatic defrost and ice crystals form on food even when vacuum sealed. Wish GE would start making manual defrost upright freezers again

garage freezer chest

This a good product. I did have to adjust the freezer to a colder temperature than factory setting to get below freezing. This product doesn't have adjustable feet, which would be helpful as my garage floor is uneven.
