Needed a nice freezer for overflow of meats and large items such as turkey, ribs, brisket, etc. This fits in our limited space perfectly and easily accessible in our garage.

A great little chest frezer!

This chest freezer is the perfect little freezer for our household. We have it in the garage, which is attached fo the house. I monitored the temps outside in the garage for a year (we get some pretty big temperature extremes) to make sure that we stay inside the temp ratings. This little freezer does exactly what it's supposed to. it came with two baskets, and is easy to monitor. It held a consistent temp even when our power went out once for a few hours, and nothing needed to be thrown away. It's somewhat basic. There isn't a lock, it has two baskets, but they are rather small. However, it's perfect for our needs!

compact garage freezer

we were looking for a small no frills freezer for our garage and this unit fit our needs perfectly. We ended up stacking it on a 2x2's for better access to the drain, but overall it works perfectly.

So far I am very pleased with my new freezer. It has features my 15 year old one of another brand did not have. Basket handles are nice and even though my old one was also an 8.8 cf this one is smaller and I'm happy to have the extra few inches

Ordered on line and could not be more happy.
Put two twenty four pound bags of ice in it and it was like a drop in a bucket.
Buying meat on sale and freezing it. Money spent will be money saved.

After our old one quit and lost a lot of food I found this one that said garage ready. Just what we needed here in Florida. It’s deeper than our last one so made placements of frozen goods a’lot simpler. We have had it for 2 weeks and it’s running great. Not expecting any problems from GE since all our other equipment in kitchen
