Nice to have an LED in lid.

Previous freezer, also a GE product, was smaller and did not have an internal LED light which we find very useful. We also appreciate the larger size. If this freezer lasts as long as the previous GE, 10 years, I will be happy.

So far so good...:) It does what we want it to do. My only improvement would be to have actual temperatures associated for the (7) settings. Currently we have it set at 4, but don't know what temperature that is?

Perfect size, looks nice, and works well. Could have a longer power cord--also the cord comes out the side of the unit vs the back which is slightly awkward and reduces the length of the already short cord. Otherwise, great.

Wonderful to have a light under the lid. It is too new to comment on the defrosting that will eventually be required. Auto-defrosting would have been great to have but for the price, size, and attractive appearance (if any freezer can be considered attractive), this freezer certainly fits our needs.
