Very good freezer

This is a very good freezer and the perfect size. It is very quite easy handling* as it is light enough to move by one person. The light is minimal but works perfectly. I wish the storage racks were bigger though. I bought plastic crates that fit in the lower section for easy organizing.

Love this freezer. Not too big, not too small. I appreciate the two sliding bins that were included too. Great for small items that might get lost otherwise. The drain spout also makes cleaning the freezer much simpler.

Received this freezer about 2 weeks ago. It is very quiet and roomy. Temperature seems to hold its own even when outside temperature is high.

Set up was very simple. Full set of features for a smaller unit, internal light, external run and temp light, audible alarm. Great Consumer Report reviews. I bought a freezer thermometer, and the temperature is constant. Perfect size for my needs, holds more than expected.

I’ve had good luck with GE products so far. Not one service required. They worked well as expected and the prices and efficiency were great. This chest freezer was just what I hoped for with plenty of useable space and energy efficiency.

We have all GE appliances in our kitchen and have been a fan for years. When our nearly-30-yr old freezer failed, it was obvious that we should choose a GE freezer as a replacement. So far we've really liked the new unit, with the interior lighting, plenty of interior space, and lower rim than our old freezer. The lights on the front are very helpful as our old one didn't have them so we couldn't tell when it was failing - now we can always be sure that our freezer is working and our food is safe!
