This is the second one we've had. Our first, sadly, was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. This freezer is just the right size for a couple or small family. LOVE IT and am so HAPPY to have been able to get another of the same model.

Excellent GE 10.7 co ft Chest Freezer

GE 10.7 cu ft Freezer Manual Defrost Chest still working since I puchase it on 9.12.2022. The lining inside is made of aluminum, not plastic sheets. It is not noisy. It has less or no frost at all inside. It has green light outside at front right lower side to indicate that it is working. It freezes the food or meat very good.

Simple to operate and quiet

This chest freezer replaced another chest freezer which was over 60 years old! That said, it is easy to load and the top light in the lid is very helpful. The red/green indicator light is a big plus to let me know how well the freezer is working. Also, the unit is exceedingly quiet
