great looking appliance, easy to start operating , new updated chest type freezer door, smaller than old model that had it's 23 birthdate recently, but holds same or more items. Too soon to grade on how well it operates, but seems to get colder really fast..

The new garage type freezer is working perfectly. I was able to transfer items to it after 36 hours.

We purchased a GE freezer because we currently have one, but half the size. We needed a larger one and prefer chest freezers for storage capacity and energy efficiency. This new one has a light that activates when the door is opened. It only has two narrow baskets for the top, but that's ok. Any more, and you'd have to move them around to get to the main compartment items.
I would recommend this to a friend!
