it’s a nice case i like it but everytime my phone is dropped it comes off my phone and my screen protector gets damaged. I’ve had several different otterbox cases and they offer a lot more protection and don’t come off as easily. 3 stars because it is a good brand but this case probably is just not the best option.

Very disappointed in this product. All of my iPhones have been inside of an otterbox case since the beginning of time. For my 13pro max, this case isnt truly MagSafe compatible. Yes the MagSafe charger does work through the case but the magnetic connection is very weak. You have to keep the phone still or just laying down flat on the MagSafe which makes using the phone while charging not very practical.

I've used the Commuter the last few years and found it a good balance between protection and not being obtrusive. I got another one for my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but found myself regretting it only for the fact it is not MagSafe compatible. That's very unfortunate when lots of other Otterbox cases are. So I got a Symmetry case that is but yearn for the Commuter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're sorry to disappoint with the Commuter Series Case for iPhone 13 Pro Max in terms of it not having been specifically updated to accommodate Apple's MagSafe accessory ecosystem. We have a number of options for that sort of thing, so we decided to leave this one as it originally was.
Hopefully you'll find the Symmetry Series+ MagSafe a suitable replacement for solid streamlined protection!

Ok case but does not allow for wireless charging

I purchased and received my case for the iPhone pro max commuter series. This case does not allow me to charge wirelessly. The magnet does not connect and I must hold it myself in just the right spot for it to work. What a pain!!!

Terrible quality

I’ve been using a defender case on my IPhone 6S since the phone came out (with the same case for about 6 years) and just bought this for my 13 pro max because I expected similar quality and this case is super disappointing.
This case doesn’t fit right, the rubber isn’t gripping the sides correctly around the volume and power buttons. There’s this loose area that dirt and dust can enter between your phone and case and will start damaging your phones finish over time. I know because this was a problem for the defender case back with the iPhone 5. They fixed this problem with the defenders for the iPhone 6 so I don’t why they went backwards. This new silicone is also less supple and harder feeling. It just doesn’t feel as protective.
The hard plastic shell is also not as good as the shell on my nearly 6 year old defender. This just isn’t holding the silicone well. It slips off so easily. If you had a bad drop in this case I wouldn’t be surprised if the silicone case popped out of the hard plastic shell.
I think you guys are trying too hard to get your old case designs to conform to wireless charging and MagSafe and ended up making subpar cases in return. Just go with the old school heavy duty designs for the older defender and commuter cases and create new designs that are MagSafe compatible instead of making your old designs bad.
TLDR: Will not buy again, will not recommend. These don’t fit right anymore and aren’t as protective as they used to be.
