Don't buy - Complete change in quality!

I've used symmetry Otterbox products for 6 years and this has seriously disappointed me.
The plastic is so hard and there's no rubber edging any more on the outside of the case.
Honestly, this product feels like something from a massive bargain bin at a store, that you go through because you don't care about the protection of your phone you just want it to be pretty. Sadly I will not be a customer of Otterbox anymore

Below I've attached a photo of my old phone case EXTREMLY worn out with the new one (Purple). I use to love the quality of these products and the warranty's on them but not any more. You can see there is NO rubber backing on the new case and the new case is such a hard plastic it clicks when you use the buttons, and buckles on the back like its to big or something. I would've used the warranty to replace my old case but I knew I was upgrading my phone. Good bye Otterbox

Just to clarify, even though it may feel a bit more rigid, that outer edging is actually still comprised of synthetic rubber rather than the polycarbonate (plastic) that's on the backside of the case. Regardless, you aren't a fan, and we take that to heart. I have own several Otterbox cases. I purchased my current symmetry case almost exactly one year ago with my Iphone 13. My phone has never been outside the case from day one. I do drop my phone often but never from higher than my hands standing on the ground. This case claims to be shock proof up to 3 meters. I pulled the case off for the first time to replace the screen protector and to my surprise, the back of the phone was completely shattered. No a scratch on the case. Obviously the case is not shock proof to 3 meters. There is no other damage to the phone other than what is shown in the picture. No damage to the Otterbox case indicating there was not a hard impact. The only thing this case did was hold the shattered pieces in that literally fell out when I took the case off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pursued this case based on the one I have used for past iPhones. This one feels cheap and cut outs for the charger cable is sharp. Makes holding the case uncomfortable. Overall feel of the case is like cheap plastic. I’ve not
dropped my phone yet, but fear if I do drop it the iPhone my become damaged. Not what I would expect from Otterbox.

I bought this case a little over 6 months ago. The rubber rim around the edge of the case is peeling off of the plastic part and is about to fall apart. The rubber piece around the volume buttons are warped out of place as well (see picture).
